Pricing
Free to list your club and start collecting subscribers. For your first 3 months, the first $250 you earn each month is fee-free — after that, the first $100 each month is. The 4.5% platform fee only ever applies to revenue above that line, never to the fee-free part.
The introductory rate starts the day you create your club and needs no code — it steps down on its own, and your dashboard shows which rate you're on and when it changes.
Payments run through Stripe Connect direct charges, so subscriber payments go straight to your own Stripe account — we never hold your funds. Stripe's own processing fee (2.9% + 30¢ per charge in the US) is separate and passed through directly.

Questions
- What does SnailPostal cost a club?
- Listing a club is free. For a club's first 3 months, the first $250 of subscription revenue each month is fee-free; after that window it's the first $100 each month. A 4.5% platform fee applies only to the revenue above that line, never to the fee-free portion. There is no monthly subscription fee for the platform itself.
- Is there an introductory rate for new clubs?
- Yes. Every club's fee-free allowance is $250 a month for its first 3 months, counted from the day the club is created, and then steps down to the standard $100 a month. It applies automatically — there is no code to redeem.
- When are subscribers charged?
- At the club's cutoff day each billing cycle, not at signup. Everyone who ships in a cycle pays on the same day, which is what lets a club plan one packing day per mailing.
- Are payment processing fees included?
- No. Stripe's own processing fee (currently 2.9% + 30¢ per card charge in the US) is charged by Stripe on every platform and is separate from the platform fee.
- Where do payouts go?
- Directly to the club's own Stripe account through Stripe Connect. SnailPostal never holds a club's funds and never holds a subscriber's card details.
- Can a club accept cash or checks?
- Yes. A club owner can add subscribers who pay offline, and they appear in the roster and address export like everyone else. No platform fee is collected on offline payments.
- Can a club move over from Patreon or Shopify?
- Yes — import the subscriber list and each person gets an invite to rejoin. Subscriptions themselves can't be transferred between platforms, so each subscriber re-enters payment once.
