About SnailPostal

SnailPostal is a discovery layer for independent snail mail clubs — letter clubs, zine subscriptions, pen pal networks, and other small creators sending real mail. We're a directory, not a mail carrier: every club fulfills its own product, on its own schedule, from wherever it is.

What we do for a club

We handle the parts creators don't want to build themselves: a public club page, recurring billing through the club's own Stripe account, a mailing cutoff so everyone in a cycle is charged on the same day, a subscriber roster with an address export for labels, and being findable by category, price, and shipping region. A creator fills in a page and adds a tier; the rest is ours.

What we do for a subscriber

One place to find clubs that actually ship to you, filtered by what they send and what they cost, and one login to manage every club you subscribe to — update an address, or cancel — without emailing each creator. The directory currently covers 14 categories, from pen pals & letters to kids & family.

How we make money

Listing is free. A 4.5% platform fee applies only to a club's subscription revenue above $100 in a month; the first $100 is always fee-free. We never hold a club's funds or a subscriber's card details. Paid placement, if a club ever buys it, is a labeled slot — it never changes where a club ranks in search or in the directory.
